The principle objectives of Ayurveda include maintenance and promotion of health, prevention of disease and cure of sickness. Cleansing therapy which include the PANCHAKARMAS OF AYURVEDA are used when the toxins are in greater quantity, thus draining them out from the body through the natural orifices.Basically, detoxification means cleansing the blood. This is done by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination. The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin during a body detox.
