Description

Some remedies are so trusted that the recipe hasn't changed in centuries, and Sitopaladi Churna is one of them. Half of it is sitopala, or mishri, which makes it pleasant to take; the rest is vanshlochan, pippali, cardamom and cinnamon in the classical proportions. Mix half to one teaspoon with honey or warm water and take it two or three times a day after meals. Listed by Cura for cough wellness, it works through its Pitta- and Kapha-balancing properties and helps reduce the symptoms of indigestion. A classical formula, simply made, easy to reach for whenever the chest or stomach feels off.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is the classical Sitopaladi Churna: sitopala (mishri) with vanshlochan, pippali, cardamom and cinnamon.

Cura lists it for cough wellness, and its Pitta- and Kapha-balancing properties help reduce the symptoms of indigestion.

Mix half to one teaspoon with honey or warm water and take it two or three times a day after meals.

Sitopala (mishri) makes up 51.61g of every 100gm, as the classical recipe requires, so diabetics should consult a physician first.

'Sitopala' means sugar candy, the base of the formula, and 'adi' means 'and others', referring to the four herbs and spices with it.
